As our church grows, it is our goal to keep a friendly welcoming atmosphere through our home groups and just being open to new people and new ideas, If you like biblical preaching, practical studies, mission ministries, God-focused worship and a friendly atmosphere, you will feel right at home with us.

Chris Williams - Co-Lead Pastor

(Executive Oversight, Teaching)

After a long and successful career with the Navy, Chris followed the Lord's leading into ministry with our church. Chris came to Christ while at the Naval Academy and has pursued involvement with expanding God's kingdom ever since. Chris and his wife, Helen, have also been involved with the direction of Potter's School, an on-line homeschool education ministry meeting the needs of families around the globe. Chris brings a needed gift of administration to our staff and oversees our emphasis on discipleship and edification of our church family.

Dan Hardesty - Co-Lead Pastor

(Preaching, Strategic Vision, Worship)

Dan has a long history with our church as it started in his parent's living room. Dan committed his life to the Lord at a young age and made a decision to be involved in ministry in his teenage years, which was the same time he picked up guitar. Dan has also worked in outdoor recreation and camp ministries here in Virginia at Triple-R Ranch and abroad at Campamento El Puente in Bolivia. He currently oversees the preaching ministry while continuing to give direction to the worship ministry teams.

Dan Mackiewicz - Family and Youth Pastor

(Family Life)

Dan came to faith in Christ at a young age. After attending Bible college, Dan moved to Chesapeake to attend seminary. While in seminary, Dan began teaching Bible at a Christian school. After spending sixteen years as a Christian school teacher, God led Dan and his family to join our pastoral staff. Dan oversees the youth and family ministries at Centerpoint. Dan is married to Sara and they have two sons.

Jon Hildebrand - Missions Pastor

(Evangelism, Outreach, Missions)

Our Missions Pastor, Jon Hildebrand, accepted Christ through Young Life in High School. He came to the area as an engineer with the Shipyard and for eight years he served the youth of Tabernacle Church of Norfolk, where he was commissioned to the gospel ministry. Jon later served as youth pastor in Texas and North Dakota. He returned to the area to establish and direct Leadership Adventure, a mission to support national camping ministries in the Ukraine under the leadership of Tabernacle Church. He oversees our missions and outreach emphasis, organizing short term mission trips, maintaining communication with the missionaries we support and encouraging our congregation to be great commission disciples.
