Life often involves hardship – both expected and unexpected; in our own lives and in the lives of those around us. Many hard circumstances and experiences are beyond our control, and sometimes they even seem beyond hope. How are the truths of Scripture – God’s promises, purposes, and power – relevant and helpful in those kinds of situations? As Christians, how should we think, how do we persevere, how do we grow through it, and how do we help others in those places in light of our faith? Different areas of hardship common to many of us will be considered over this seven-week class.
